Young Love

I have nothing against either of them… I do have a problem with their situation being more important than REAL news! Seriously, it was news the day it happened! I’m a female and I’m completely against any man beating on a woman, but I’m also against any woman hitting on a man. Everybody knows Rihanna used to slap him and hit him, there are court records to prove it. I’m not saying that gives him the right to beat her up, BUT he did what any abused person would do… SNAP!!

Okay, I watched her interview and I was actually really upset about it. I felt like she could have told her story without trying to ruin his image. He did interviews and never once did he talk about what she used to do to him. It’s clear that it was just for publicity for her new album coming out (which may be wack based on leaked songs I’ve heard) and even in the interview she said she broke up with him because she didn’t want to lose what she built.

Now my next issue… Why is the media treating him like he just nailed Jesus to the cross! No really, he’s not the first celebrity to hit a woman and I’m damn sure he won’t be the last! So why is he the only one people want to blackball!? He lost his endorsements, radio stations don’t want to play his music, Oprah doesn’t want him on her couch… It’s sickening! Mack 10 hit T-boz, Brian Mcknight hit his wife, Joe is a woman beater, BeBe Winans hit CeCe (Oprah had him on the show AFTER that! hmmmm), Gucci Mane was caught on video punching his girl in the face!!! He’s all over the radio stations, So why is Chris Brown any different!? He’s a young dude that made a mistake, let him deal with his consequences. Since when is everyone in the world perfect and can point fingers!
