I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s impossible for young people to be in relationships when they’re famous. I see that they no longer make decisions based on the love for the person anymore, they make all of their decisions on their image and what everybody watching them will think. I just don’t understand why! I understand that they have to keep up a certain image, and they may not want their situation talked about in every blog and website on the internet…
Scratch that.
I DON’T understand!
*Directed to all celebrities* YOU wanted to do this! You signed up for this and all that comes with it. All of the scrutiny, all of the gossip, everybody all in your business… This is the life you chose for you! So how in the hell are you mad when everybody is watching you and judging you on the moves you make!?
Now that I’ve said that… I want to point out that all the fans that judge someone because of a choice they made is just as stupid and wrong! Celebrities are normal people! They are not gods.
They make mistakes, they go through things, they have feelings… They are not here to do whatever YOU think they should do! This is their career. So how is it when they go through the same exact things the rest of us go through and make the same exact decisions the rest of us make they have to worry about losing fans, and people talking bad about them. They’re not any different than the rest of the world.
How dare you judge!
What kind of fans stop being fans just because they don’t like a decision that artist made? In my opinion, you were never a fan if it was that easy to stop being a fan.
Rihanna would still be with Chris Brown if she wasn’t worried about her career going down the drain for her doing that. She knows it, he knows it and the rest of the judgmental ass world knows it too. So she gave up her love and happiness to please her “FANS”, I guess fans love seeing people miserable!
I digress…
I have a picture of Dawn (formerly of Danity Kane now with Dirty Money) and Que (Day26) in the start of this post because they are the inspiration behind this post.
I am a closet hopeless romantic. I don’t have much faith in our generation and the choices we make when it comes to love, but when I first saw their relationship I hoped they would actually make it. It was so pure, it was innocent, it was young, black LOVE!
I thought here is this young dude and he’s making all of these older guys look real bad! He’s doing everything that a girl wants a guy to do. He wasn’t afraid to show how much he loved his girl and she loved him more for that. This was his girl and he wanted the world to know it. (literally, he got the tattoos to show it)
I admired that.
I hoped they were strong enough to make it in this industry. I saw a lot of negative blog posts about them through the course of their relationship. They didn’t let those move them at all, they stayed together.
I follow both Dawn and Que on twitter and thought it was cute when they talked to each other and talked about their relationship for all of their fans to see. The problem with that is it would be obvious when they were having problems too. For the past couple of days I’ve been trying to figure out if they were breaking up based on certain twitter post they both wrote. It seems that maybe they have. I was told they aren’t even following each other on twitter anymore.
I hope they can work out whatever it is that went wrong in their relationship and not let this industry make them miserable. Love like that doesn’t come too often.
Until they come out and put out a statement that they’re relationship is over, I refuse to believe it.
All relationships have issues. You just have to figure out how important that other person is to you and how hard you are willing to work to make things right.
**Update**
Que and Dawn have both said they were still together… so that’s all that matters. Hopefully people will stop the rumors and let them be happy.
